Prices & Booking information for Self Guided Walking in Cornwall:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A friendly welcome at the end of long days walking makes a big difference. Because we tailor make your holidays working with you we can be totally flexible about the accommodation you pick.
In remote sections options will be limited but by using our local knowledge and transfers if its possible to provide what you want then we can do it. Over the years we have booked everything from Youth Hostels to £400 a night suites in the West Countries finest hotels for our customers.
To help ensure you have the right accommodation selected for you we provide you with the websites of the suggested accommodation so you can assess what you would be getting before booking.
All our regular accommodation is right on or as close to the trail as we can get it. In a couple of remote areas there is no accommodation or there is so little available it is often booked out. In these situations we arrange transfers to and from the trail for you or arrange for you to spend two nights in one place.
The Accommodation Options
The Regular Option. Our regular accommodation is all comfortable, clean and most importantly walker friendly with ensuite or private bathrooms. There is always an option for evening meals either close by or at the accommodation itself and information on this will be in your itinerary.
The Upgraded Option. As we produce tailor made breaks, in many locations we can also offer you hotel and 4 star B&B accommodation options with greater levels of luxury and wider facilities for those wanting more comfort.
The Budget Option. We want everyone to enjoy the walking routes. If cost is the most important thing let us know, we can often come up with accommodation to suit, from campsites and youth hostels through to bookings with more basic but clean and welcoming B&B’s.
Or a mix of everything ! remember that we tailor things to you and its your holiday – so if you can’t afford hotels all the way but want to treat yourself on the last night as a celebration – then just tell us on the enquiry form and we’ll provide you with the options and prices to consider.

 With your tailor-made itinerary, we will fit your walking holiday in with your wider plans and dates.
For those arriving by Car:
We will advise on using long stay parking options at one end of the trail and give details on taking public transport or our own transfers back at the end of your walk
For those arriving by Public Transport:
We provide you with public transport information to make you own way to and from the trail by bus / train / taxi
Or where this is not possible or where you prefer it, we can book Encounter Walking transfers from mainline rail, bus and airports to the trail and back at the end of your walk

Other Walks - We will advise on what route information will be provided when we supply your quotation. Rest assured that we will use the best maps, national trail guides and literature for the walk you want to do. Where it does not exist you will be provided with our own walking notes and maps.

En Route Rest days – the route descriptions will give you suggestions as to the best places for a rest day – but its up to you. Just let us know where you want to take a day out and we will include this in your quote.
En Route Visit days - there are some excellent visits you can make easily from various sections of the coast path on rest days. For example on the Wild Lands End Way a gentle days walk taking in Cornwalls ancient stone circles, quoits and standing stones or take a day out at St Ives to fully explore the town and The Tate Gallery.
On the Harbours and Coves route, visits to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are possible with both in easy walking distance of the path. If you want something to see on your rest day just ask for advice and we can let you know the options.
Cycling Days - One way Cycling days on the superb 18 mile off road Camel Trail at Padstow, or on the Clay Trails to Eden and the Lost Gardens of Heligan from the Charlestown area.
Canoeing Day - Unique guided Canoe trips on the river Fowey suitable for eveyone as well as Kayak Hire for those with experience in Wind in the Willows country on the creeks and esturary between Lerryn and Fowey Surfing, Coasteering and other activity Days - Take a day out to have a surfing lesson on many locations en route round the coast including Padstow Bude Newquay or the legendry and stunning Sennen Cove Packed Lunches – These are often available at your accommodation & your itinerary will advise if you can order packed lunches or if not where you can get some provisions locally before you start your days walk.

Have a good look at the route description for the walk you want to do and decide which sections you want to walk. We can accommodate whatever sections and overnight stops you want for as many days as you want to be out on the trail. There are no fixed departure dates and you can travel any day subject to availability of accommodation, walking for as long as you choose.
