Frenchmans Creek (Daphne du Maurier), Tropical Gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan, Kynance Cove Cornwall's most atmospheric and best loved Cove. Options - Rest Day at St Michaels Mount in Marazion, windsurfing and surf kayaking at Coverack, river kayaking in Helford, links to the St Michaels Way Cross Cornwall Path The South West Coast Path - South Cornwall CoastAll the options covering 75 breathtaking miles of trail from Falmouth and the unspoilt Roseland Peninsular through Daphne du Maurier country to Cornwall's boundary with the River Tamar at Plymouth. Wander the cliffs, coves and lush secret valleys whilst overnighting in magical harbour towns including , Mevagissey Charlestown and Fowey on the gentler but even more diverse south coast route. The Saints WayA two or three day, 30 mile walk that takes you across the heart of Cornwall from Coast to Coast. Running from the beautiful harbour of Padstow to the port of Fowey in the footsteps of Celtic Saints, pilgrims and Bronze Age Traders. This walk really gives you a chance to sample everything Cornwall has to offer. Visit Eden option available. Fowey Estuary WalkSpend 2 or 3 days journeying with the mighty Fowey River from its inland valleys to its dramatic meeting with the sea at Fowey. Staying in idyllic creek side villages, and wandering dense woodland, rolling heath land and the inlets and pills of the estuary. The whole route is a protected area of outstanding natural beauty rich in wildlife, history and unforgettable panoramas, all encountered on a walking break in this very special place.
Daphne du Maurier WalkExclusive to Encounter Cornwall a 2 day walking break linking the scenery and locations that inspired the writer. From windswept Castle Dor through Fowey to Menabilly and beyond, a mix of inland estuary, heath land and her beloved cliffs and coves en route. Encounter Eden TrailOn this 2 or 3 day walk, after visiting this amazing project, sample the best of the area en route using ancient woodland sections of the Saints Way and an overnight stay with the tall ships in Charlestown. Then into the Daphne du Maurier sections of the Coast Path with options to extend into the protected Fowey Estuary. The Copper TrailShort breaks on the best sections of a stunning and dramatic new circular walk around Bodmin Moor, visiting Neolithic stone circles, the Cheesewring, hidden valleys and ancient moorland on your way. One Centre Walking BreaksIf you prefer to stay in one place with a rich variety of walking options from your doorstep, then join us in the stunning creek side village of Lerryn.
