For all of you that return year after year to stunning Lerryn a superb new option that has just been renovated is now available - perfect for canoeing on the Fowey, walking, cycling and exploring the mid Cornwall area.  Lerryn Cottage - sleeps up to 10 persons with loads of room and is perfect for families and groups of friends.

Completley refurbished during 2008 the Cottage is right in the centre of the village with its own garden and decking areas.

Work is well underway on developing the new routes for next summer. From January 2009 Encounter Cornwall will be offering walking holidays on ALL 305 miles of Cornwall sections of the South West Coast Path as well as ALL three Coast to Coast Cross Cornwall Routes (The Saints Way, The Smugglers Way and The St Michaels Way).

As we finish rewalking sections and checking accommodation so the route descriptions are being uploaded to our site.

After a very busy Summer despite the weather (over 1,500 canoeists have paddled with us) the shorter days are upon us.  Autumn is one of the best times to paddle the upper Lerryn Creek with a blaze of colour as the trees turn, migrating birds to spot and a general lack of other river traffic.

We continue to operate canoeing trips when the weather allows throughout the Autumn and Winter. Generally trips are much smaller groups on shorter distances but we will consider all requests.

 We are currently running ad hoc trips and hire throughout March and early April with our full programme of daily Canoe Trips and hire starting from April

We are very pleased to announce that we are now operating our walking holidays and short breaks on the Devon Border to Padstow section of the Cornish Coast path. This is some of the most challenging and stunning walking in Cornwall.
